They showed up first thing in the morning and removed two large oaks. We sat outside with our coffees and watched. In an hour and a half; they had thoroughly cleaned up the site and were headed off to the next job. Wow, thank you Collins! I have just spent an extremely stressful and emotional morning watching an ancient magnolia, one that I loved, being cut down. I felt no joy in its demise, but was resigned to its removal. I watched every moment. Because I did, I saw a lot of men working very efficiently and professionally, and though I was not happy, I appreciated the quality of the work I was seeing. This was a difficult job, in a difficult space, with sometimes difficult people, but Ryan Collins was gracious, and his staff excelled. Ryan and his crew are one of the most professional groups I have had the pleasure of working with. They worked so very hard and were respectful and pleasant to all of us, patiently coordinating the work around the barn, to keep the upset to the horses at a minimum. Grif Lee, foreman, was a tremendous help and the crew is always polite, friendly and most of all, do an OUTSTANDING JOB! We have used other tree service in the past due to the ice storm and felt that it was a pressure-like sales effort to take out more trees than we needed, and we have had to call multiple times to get the work completed. Not so with Ryan who is informative, knowledgeable and professional. With him, I felt like I was getting a problem solved and never feel pressured to take out more than necessary. Ryan is also very knowledgeable and sensitive to the trimming of the large oaks that are common to the historic homes we restore. I just wanted to take a moment and express my appreciate for the exceptional job the Collins Tree and Stump crew did on removing the four pine trees from my backyard. Even though the trees were quite large, the CTS crew removed them in a very professional manner. The crew was efficient, courteous, and worked together like a well-oiled machine. They cut the trees, cleaned the limbs/debris from my yard, and then ground the stumps. I must say, it was an exceptional job! The best tree crew in this area, without doubt. I would definitely use them again in the future and will recommend them to friends that need tree work done.
